This is urgent!!!! So please pay atention.

I joined this group on yahoo that rescues mother dogs and cats and their babies.Last week I got a E-mail from a lady in North Carolina about two stray dogs in bad need of a home.One looks to be realy pregnant and the other may be her puppy.The worse part is,the man who lives nearby has said he plans to shoot BOTH of them since they're unwelcome in the area(here are they{ pictures[link])and it appears the puppy has already been shot in the leg.

These two poor little dogs need help and FAST!!!!!If any of you happen to live in that area or know somebody who does and has the time and space to take them in,please let them know NOW!!!!!

I just got a call about this Mother dog who is VERY pregnant. Looks like
she is due any day. There is also a dog with her that looks like a pup of
hers from the last time she was pregnant.

The neighbor has ALREADY SHOT THE PUP in the front chest area. You can
see the wound from the photo. They have gone to the other neighbors home
and they are not wanted.
I begged the man not to shoot them yet and he has given me until Tuesday
morning.

Mommy dog seems very friendly, but tired looking. The pup seems a little
timid and growled, but her tail was wagging the entire time I was talking to
her. Fear!

Mom is a little smaller than a Beagle. The pup looks like a Shiba Inu,
but not that big. Maybe up to my knees and about 15 pounds.

If someone can take them, I will grab them on Monday and have the little
female pup spayed, vaccinated, and also get Mommy a check up.
This man means what he is saying. I know of him and he thinks nothing of
shooting them.
